Note for bust measurements provided, when stated "bust across", the garment is measured straight across the chest where the bodice joins the sleeves. More commonly used, is "bust around", where the measurement is doubled (multiply by two).
The Woman Apparel Size Reference Chart below refers to estimation of general body sizes, together with estimated conversion to other measurement sizes.
Our advice is to get your own clothing of (similar style) and measure across the vital points which you think matters to you (in the same way which is stated in the Size Guide under the section Garment Measurements). You can write it down somewhere and keep it handy when you browse through the designs so you can match with the measurements details posted with each design.
All measurements stated on each product details page is measured from the item itself according to the methods stated in the Size Guide under the section Garment Measurements. Please take note that our measurements does not take into account stretchability of the item.
Please allow up to +/- ~1-3cm variation in measurements given.

** For garment measurements, use a measuring tapi or use a piece of string and measure the string length with a ruler.
** TOP **
a. Collar: Pick a shirt with a collar that fits you well and lay the collar flat. Measure from the center of the collar button to the far end of the opposite buttonhole. Alternatively, measure around the base of your neck.
b. Shoulder Width: Width measured from shoulder tip to shoulder tip.
c. Bust / Chest: The garment is measured straight across the chest where the bodice joins the sleeves. This measurements is doubled. (Tucks and gathers are spread out before measuring.)
d. Sleeve Length: Measured in a straight line from shoulder seam to the top of the sleeve hem (or the end of the cuff).
e. Total Length: Measured in a straight line from top side to hem.
** DRESS / SKIRTS **
a. Total Length: Measured in a straight line from topside to hem.
b. Bust: The garment is measured straight across the chest where the bodice joins the sleeves. This measurement is doubled. (Tucks and gathers are spread out before measuring.)
c. Waists: The garment is measured straight across the waistline (the narrowest part) and this measurement (the inner diameter) is doubled.
If there is no obvious waistline, the garment is measured straight across at a poinr 42cm below the line where neckline meets the shoulder line.
d. Hips:
*** Skirts: With fasteners or buttons fastened, the skirt is measured straight across the hipline (18cm below the waistline), and this measurement is then doubled. (Tucks are spread out before measuring.)
*** One-piece dresses: If there is no obvious waistline, the dress is measured straight across a point 60cm below the line where the neckline meets the shoulder line. This measurement is then doubled.
** PANTS **
a. Waists: The garment is measured straight across the waistline (the narrowest part) and this measurement (the inner diameter) is doubled.
If there is no obvious waistline, the garment is measured straight across at point 42cm below the line where the neckline meets the shoulder line.
b. Hips:
*** Pants: With fasteners or buttons fastened, the pants are measured straight across at the bottom of the fastener opening. This measurement is then doubled.
c. Total Length: Measured in a straight line from top side to hem.
